A solution to the problem of expensive and inaccessible manufacturing capabilities for FIRST teams, the Maker CNC is a CNC router developed to be largely 3D printed along with a variety of available off-the-shelf components. The machine can be scalable, making replacement parts for itself to improve performance.

Built on the Marlin firmware, the device is capable of 3D printing a variety of polymeric precursors including: hydrogels, liquid crystal elastomers, silicone, etc. The printer is equipped with an exchangeable positive-displacement extruder that allows customizable heating profiles to modify material rheology as well as UV-curing capabilities to cure or crosslink various materials in-situ.

With such active feline friends, it can be tiresome to keep up with their playfulness. CatVision is a laser pointer toy that uses computer vision to track where your at is, directing the laser to always keep them busy. Utilizing a Raspberry Pi and Tiny-Yolo, the toy can keep cats happy for hours.

A robotic arm built to help aid in menial tasks. The device is capable of grasping and manipulation with 6 axis of freedom. It utilizes NEMA 17 Stepper motors to power to movement, paired with custom-designed back-drivable cycloidal gearboxes. The arm is designed bo modular with a closed-loop control system.
